Atlas
The production electric Atlas has 56 degrees of freedom, lifts up to 50 kg and swaps its own batteries. Boston Dynamics started building it in January 2026, but the whole 2026 run goes to its parent Hyundai and to Google DeepMind. At Hyundai's Georgia Metaplant, Atlas is learning parts sequencing in a training center that moved into full operation in September 2026. Assembly-line work is not expected before 2028-2030.

Production Atlas manufacturing starts immediately; 2026 units are fully committed, with fleets shipping to Hyundai's RMAC and Google DeepMind in the coming months
KeptPilot operations at RMAC outside Savannah began in June 2026 and have since moved to full operations. By September 2026 Atlas units there were learning to sequence parts. Those units are training, not doing production work. We did not find public confirmation of the DeepMind shipment. Source
